In this video I demonstrate how to downgrade any iDevice to ANY firmware you have your SHSH files backed up on! YOU MUST HAVE THEM BACKED UP OR YOU CANNOT DO THIS! Steps: 1. Make sure you have your SHSH files backed up in Cydia (open it and check at the top) **NOTE** If you didn’t already back them up on a firmware LOWER than 4.2.1 then you CANNOT do it now; it’s too late! 2. Download all of the downloads in the download section below 3. Re-route iTunes to Saurik’s server. **NOTE** I demonstrate how to do this in the video ( 1:35 ) with the information from this website: www.saurik.com 4. Plug your iDevice into your computer and open iTunes 5. Enter DFU mode by following the on-screen instructions; listed here: a. Hold down the power button b. Continue holding the power button and start holding the home button and continue HOLDING BOTH buttons for 10 seconds c. Let go of power and continue holding home button for 20 seconds 6. Hold down one of the following (SHIFT KEY, For PC’s, OR ALT KEY, For MAC’s) and left-click restore 7. Browse for the firmware you downloaded (the one you want to downgrade to) 8. You SHOULD get an error (if not your done), proceed to the next step if you do indeed get an error 9. Open Recboot and hit exit recovery mode (make sure your device is still plugged in) 10.
